Airport clean and very close to town. All good until I come to the screening lady, very rude, accusing and abrupt for no real reason. Asked if I had a bag and I said no. She then drug screened me, all good not a problem then my wife came beside me and asked me to look after her bag while she was screened. All hell broke when I took the bag. The screening lady then said loudly I asked you if you had a bag and you said no now you have taken possession of that bag accusing me of lying. I understand theyre doing their job but if they dont like it dont take it out on the public who are forced to use the facility if they want to fly. Unacceptable treatment of people that pay their wages at a regional airport. Ruined my morning.
Nice and clean. Well organised.
Great little regional airport. Friendly staff, clean toilets, nice little cafe. Plenty of seats. Easy parking. Tarmac walk us fully exposed, so dress for outside. Good spirited security staff a little over zealous/unsure, so allow time for minor queue delays. Good coffee.
The first and only regional airport that I have visited. Actually pretty pricey to fly out here, and facilities reasonable considering the size of the place.
