Great playground for kids. A little disappointed with the food... could have been what we choose. Good special on kids meals.
We have lived in Dubbo for only 18 months but have managed to try the majority of resturants in town. We had heard the advertising for south Dubbo Tavern on the radio many times but it just so happened we heard the advert as we were trying to decide on dinner so off we went. The tavern itself is quite deceiving as it seems a lot bigger on the inside. We were met by some of the friendliest staff in dubbo that were bright, attentive and well mannered. We ordered our meals and wanted to make a few changes. The chefs were more than happy to accommodate us. The meals that were served to us were absolutely delicious and the plate sizes were plentiful. Thank you South Dubbo Tavern for your wonderful meals and awesome hospitality. We will be back. Thank you

Excellent service and fantastic food make for a great experience
The wait time was nearly an hour but the place was packed so that was to be expected. When we finally got our meals, we were blown away, large servings and very tasty. It was worth the wait for sure. The only problem was our group had to sit scattered everywhere and not together and having to go up stairs to buy the drinks. It would be much easier if there was a bar there to get the drinks. But well done anyway.
