Clean. Good shower and basic kitchen area (microwave, fridge, sink, cabinets). Reasonably comfy bed. Pet friendly rooms. Easy after hours check-in.
Stopped at Dubbo Midstate Caravan Park. The staff were friendly and the cabin was okay (if a bit dated) and everything worked. Shower was greatgood temperature and pressure. If passing through Dubbo again, I would be more than happy to stay here.
This is a budget option for people travelling through Dubbo and I was lucky enough to get one of the hotel rooms where the manager allowed us to accommodate our small dog albeit with an extra cleaning fee. The park is under new management and the couple running the place were really friendly which was great.
Perfect place for an overnight stop over or even longervwe arrived late and late check in was a breeze. One of the lovely staff members guided me to reverse park my trailer next to the cabin something he didn't need to do but he took time out of his evening to help me do it. Packing up the next morning we were greeted with a beautiful smile from Naomi the manager while she was walking through the park.
Nice little park, new owners so expect good changes and upgrades. Sites are smallish but there a number of drive thru sites for big Riggs. Lots of cabins. Pool is small but well maintained. Amenities are old but very clean. Close to town. No highway noise.
