Absolutely fantastic night except for the heat..went for night walk..rangers very knowledgeable about the animals and shared some interesting facts..fun and games for the kids and adults..lovely dinner and breakfast...slept in tents and listened to zoo noises over night...camp only 500 metres from lions..everyone should have a zoo camp experience

The best. Keepers were great. Well looked after, good food and a beautiful area of the zoo to be in. Very comfortable sleeping in the tents.

First time doing this was a great experience. Will definitely recommend it

Had a great stay with the family and loved the relaxing experience. It was a rainy stay but the staff were accommodating and the tents waterproof and comfy. The included evening and morning tours of the zoo were informative and was great to see the animals when they were more active.

I don't know why Google lists this as a family hotel. It's a campsite. In saying that, the experience is unforgettable. Along with the camping experience, you also get evening and early morning tours while the zoo is closed. We got a really good view of the lions and got to see all the Aussie animals awake at night. We also got to see the tigers when they're first let out of their night dens in the morning. The food was delicious and so were the toasted marshmallows. Thanks Sarah for being an awesome camp host!
